Travel School Speech Language Pathologist - Berwyn, Pennsylvania

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a school setting in the Berwyn, PA area. This travel opportunity requires commitment Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 3:00 pm, from the beginning of March through the end of the academic year.Key Responsibilities:Assessment & Evaluation• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations• Screen students for potential communication disorders• Interpret test results and write detailed evaluation reports• Assist in determining student eligibility for speech servicesDirect Therapy Services• Provide individual and group therapy sessions• Target goals including articulation, language, social communication, AAC use, fluency, and more• Modify treatment plans based on student progress and needsIEP & Documentation• Develop IEP goals and present levels of performance• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings• Collect data and track student progress• Maintain Medicaid billing (if applicable) and complete compliance documentationCollaboration• Work closely with teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, and administrative staff• Provide classroom strategies and accommodations to support communication goals• Communicate regularly with parents and guardiansConsultation & Prevention• Offer RTI/MTSS support to staff and students• Train staff members on effective communication strategies• Assist with behavior plans related to communication needsCompliance & Administration• Adhere to state and federal special education regulations• Manage caseload schedules effectively• Maintain therapy materials and proper testing protocolsQualifications:Valid SLP certification/license appropriate for school settingsExperience in conducting assessments and providing therapy for school-age childrenStrong knowledge of IEP development and special education lawExcellent collaboration and communication skillsAbility to manage caseload and documentation efficientlyThis role is ideal for an SLP who values hands-on work in a school environment and is available for a travel assignment in Berwyn, PA, supporting student communication needs from March through the end of the school year.
