Proposal Manager, SLED
Compile vendor and scoping questions, coordinate pricing with Finance and Sales, write custom responses, perform thorough QA reviews, and ensure all submissions meet deadlines and quality standards.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Partner with Marketing, Practice teams, and Vendor Management to create and refine proposal and SOW content. Audit existing templates to ensure consistency and standardization. Identify content gaps and drive creation of reusable, high-quality response materials tailored to SLED requirements.Act as liaison between Sales, Technical Practices, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Executive teams. Analyze proposal outcomes to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement in response quality, efficiency, and win rates.4-5 years of professional work experienceMinimum 2 years in an enterprise-level writing and decision-making roleSLED (State, Local, and Education) proposal experience strongly preferredBachelor's degree with concentration in Professional/Technical Writing, English, or related field preferred OR equivalent related work experienceAdvanced professional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with proven ability to write clearly and conciselyCustomer service driven with strong attention to detailAdvanced Microsoft Word skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDFFamiliarity with Google Workspace, Responsive (formerly RFPIO), and Salesforce preferred.Remote workforce primarily (U.S. based only, some travel may be required for certain positions, working on-site may be required for Federal positions)Group Medical Insurance options: Zero Deductible PPO Plan (GuidePoint pays 90% of the premium for employees and 70% for family plans (spouse/children/family) or High Deductible Health Plan with HSA (GuidePoint pays 100% of the employees premiums and 75% for family plans (spouse/children/family). xevrcyc 850 per EE annually / $1750 per family annually (includes spouse/children/family options)Group Dental Insurance: 12 corporate holidays and a Flexible Time Off (FTO) programHealthy mobile phone and home internet allowanceEligibility for retirement plan after 2 months at open enrollment
