Prepress Operator

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Prepress operator who has the necessary skills and experience to roll up his or her sleeves and jump right into production.The ideal candidate will be creative, have a positive attitude and will be excited about printing production. Must be committed to quality, always paying attention to details, consistently delivery outstanding customer service, and able to function effectively in a fast paced environment.Responsibilities:Reviewing department job tickets, managing workflow to ensure all orders are completed on time, and consistently meeting customers' expectations while maximizing machine efficiency.Preparing files for print production, Experience with Imposition software and variable data is definitely a Plus.Properly using and maintaining all department tools and equipment, managing machine logs and coordinating maintenance and repair calls with vendors.Qualifications:High level of experience with Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Must be able to effectively prepare and troubleshoot a variety of file formats and edit PDF documents.Experience with printed products.
