Dietary AideHours | Schedule: Part Time | Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 1:00pm | 20 hours per weekLocation | Department: Thome PACEOverviewThe Dietary Aide supports the dietitian in ensuring a smooth delivery of service for breakfast and lunch meals to participants at the center. This position ensures food safety and sanitation of and in all kitchen equipment and areas.What You’ll DoExecute therapeutic and mechanically altered diets as part of participant treatment plan.Maintain kitchen safety and sanitation standards.Practice food temperature safety zones and limits for both hot and cold foods and take corrective actions for when limits are not met.Label, date, seal, and store food.Wash pots, pans and dishes as part of the daily routineComplete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule.Replenish nutritional supplement stock.Willing to help as needed with Food Pantry operations (stocking, rotating, assisting participants, cleaning).
