Job Title: Quality Coordinator Reports To: Food Safety and Compliance Manager JOB SUMMARY: Include but are not limited to: Ensures that employees follow quality assurance standards and procedures established by the company, this includes ISO, OSHA and Food Safety requirements where applicable. As a quality coordinator, you analyze data, review policies, and suggest process improvements. Create reports and train employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Fall within the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, OSHA Compliance and Food Safety Requirements Ensures that employees are following the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, and that policies and procedures are being followed. Monitors action plans that are developed and executed to address any nonconformity within the program. Coordinates internal audits for facility and directs meetings with management regarding the results of audits. Responsible for reviewing written procedures regularly to ensure sustained effectiveness and suitability. Ensures Good Manufacturing Procedures are understood and monitored throughout all areas of the facility. Ensures all records related to compliance are maintained and filed. Supervises daily cleaning inspection in the warehouse. Ensures all work areas are kept clean and free of pest activity. Develops and implements training material regarding compliance related topics Assist in Corrective and Preventive Actions investigation and include Root Cause Analysis. Assists in maintaining and appropriating actions relating to ISO, OSHA and food safety standards when applicable. Maintain document control and ensure staff have access to current documents Providing departments with quality planning and support. Act as back as needed for the food safety sector REQUIREMENTS Not limited to what is listed below Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills Strong Organizational Skills Ability to work within a team environment, as well as independently, with minimal supervision. Maintains a high level of confidentiality. Ability to understand and implement a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures Public Speaking OTHER REQUIREMENTS Bilingual – English and Spanish (not a requirement but would be considered beneficial) Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a compliance field (Food Safety, OSHA or ISO) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $50,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
