Mainframe Technical DeveloperLocation: Sunrise, FLDuration: Long-Term ContractPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Mainframe Technical Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-level applications running on IBM Mainframe platforms.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS DB, and SQL, along with a solid understanding of both batch and online processing.The candidate will be responsible for application analysis, development, production support, impact assessment, technical solutioning, and collaboration with business and technical teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Mainframe applications.Develop and enhance applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.Perform requirement analysis and translate business requirements into technical solutions.Analyze existing Mainframe applications and conduct impact assessments for enhancements and changes.Troubleshoot application issues and perform effective debugging and problem resolution.Translate technical findings into business rules, process flows, and technical documentation.Collaborate with Business Analysts, application teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.Participate in Mainframe migration and modernization initiatives.Support application releases, enhancements, and production deployments.Create and maintain technical documentation, application specifications, and process-flow diagrams.Support audit and compliance activities by providing required technical documentation.Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using modern tools and technologies.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to team members.Participate in Agile development processes and follow established SDLC standards.
