Quality Manager

Treves CTA in Corbin, KY, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive automotive manufacturing knowledge, preferably with Ford and GM.ResponsibilitiesEnsure, in the plant, the implementation and respect of quality policies and the quality management system according to IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and internal requirements.Represents the customer at the plant.Ensure compliance with customer requirements from the industrialization phases. Plan the measures to guarantee the product quality.Manage the plant quality technicians / engineers.Proposes changes of the quality management system to improve it and adapt it to customer and other shareholders expectations in order to assure the organization's competitiveness.Participates in the Plant Processes improvement plan.Leads on Product Safety and Conformity Representative (PSCR) related activities, while legal associated implications lie on the Plant Manager function..Authorizes charges back for customer serial life claims or warranties.Ensures coordination with the factory's SQA, and formalize quality incidents to suppliers.QualificationsProven experience as a Plant Quality Manager or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential if experience is demonstrable.
