These are registry positions with our company.**Pay Rate: ** $60 / hour*W2Job Details:Area: Mental Health OT-8HR Class: RECT Shift: Mon-Thurs 7am-5:30pm (30) or Tues-Friday 7am-5:30pm (30)Requirements :Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) as a Recreational TherapistAbility to build rapport with patientsCompassionate and caring demeanorFamiliarity with medical terminologyA valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED FROM THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THERAPUTIC CERTIFICATON (NCTRC) OR THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF RECREATON AND PARK CERTIFICATION (CBRPC)Responsibilities:Assess patient needsConsider medical recordsPersonal observation and talks with the patient and his or her loved onesExecute a therapeutic program targeted toward what that patient requires mostKeep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help the patientsDocument a patient's progress during their activitiesOther duties assigned my supervisorIf interested, please apply through this job post.
