Screen Printing Manager

Job Description NOTE: JOB IS LOCATED IN KY. GENEROUS RELOCATION PKG. IS PROVIDED.Premier textile rotary screen printing provider in KY is searching to hire an experienced Screen Print Manager for day shift.Responsibilities include:Manage and direct approximately 15 pressroom employees in flatbed, rotary textile screen printing operations.Schedule production to maintain quality and on-time delivery dates.Manage inventory and supplies to support production needs.Technical expert in screen print department, able to help operators troubleshoot printing problems.Use continuous improvement methods to increase efficiencies and reduce waste and down times.Make sure all PM are finished according to schedules.Participate in all team management meetings.Coordinate with production departments to ensure production in on-time and complete.Work closely with outside vendors to ensure product compliancy and on-time deliveries.Coach and develop production employees, holding them accountable for quality and policies.Lead by example.Work closely with Plant Manager to ensure client demands are being met and/or exceeded.Qualifications include:Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in flatbed, rotary screen printing operations; textile and/or fabric printing experience desired.Strong technical knowledge of large format flatbed rotary screen printing processes and machinery.Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Lean Manufacturing Principles.Effective communication and time management skills.Excellent leadership and coaching skills.Excellent problem-solving skills.Solid communication skills.Proven team building skills.Great opportunity to advance career as the company expands and adds staff.Starting salary range $85,000 - $100,000 + 10% annual bonus potential.Excellent company contribution for healthcare benefits.
