Production Operator

Production Operator – Metal Finishing We are hiring a *Production Operator* to join a busy metal manufacturing environment. This position will primarily focus on *grinding, finishing, and preparing metal components* using industrial equipment and hand tools. *Responsibilities:* * Operate industrial grinding and metal finishing equipment * Grind, smooth, deburr, and finish metal parts to required specifications * Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely * Read a ruler and take basic measurements accurately * Perform basic shop math, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals * Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy * Follow work instructions, production specifications, and safety procedures * Handle and move metal materials throughout the production process * Maintain a clean and organized work area *Requirements:* * Previous manufacturing, production, metalworking, or industrial experience preferred * Experience with grinders, sanders, deburring tools, or similar equipment is a plus * Must be comfortable working with metal and industrial machinery * Ability to read a ruler and understand basic measurements * Basic math skills required * Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail * Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform physical production work * Strong commitment to workplace safety Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week Work Location: In person
