Job Title: Industrial Engineer – Supplier Production SystemsLocations: Houston, TX / Orlando, FL / Charlotte, NCDuration: 12 Months contract with potential extensionsRole Overview:Work on improving supplier production systems in complex manufacturing environments by addressing capacity, production stability, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen supplier capability and improve supply chain resilience.Key Responsibilities:Identify and resolve production constraints, bottlenecks, and stability issuesDrive improvements in capacity planning, lead time, flow, and KPI managementSupport supplier capability development and manufacturing process improvementsCreate standard work, playbooks, and training materials for scalable implementationCollaborate effectively across global teams and matrix organizationsRequirements:Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Production, or Mechanical EngineeringStrong experience in production systems, operations, or supplier developmentAnalytical mindset with knowledge of data and digital/AI-based toolsGood communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skillsWillingness to travel internationally up to 40%About Team:Part of the global Supplier Development function within Strategic Procurement, working closely with procurement, engineering, quality, and operations teams to strengthen supplier performance and long-term competitiveness.
