Operations/HR Manager
The Operations Manager assists the Chief Executive Officer and the management team in the daily operations of the facility with responsibility for back office operations, accounting, and administrative functions.Responsibilities:Responsible for receiving and shipping functions including stocking orders, special orders, GearFire orders, firearm transfers, vendor returns, and intercompany transfers. Manages managing special order processes in conjunction with sales. Manages incoming firearm consignments in conjunction with sales. In conjunction with the management, manages company receivables and payables. Responsible for all product maintenance functions within AXIS. Responsible for merchandise inventory accuracy. Leads cycle counting and month end inventory process and reporting. Supports CEO and CFO in month end reconciliation activities. In conjunction with General Manager, is responsible for NFA/NonNFA Bound Book maintenance in compliance with ATF rules and regulations. Executes daily cash handling and banking transactions. Manages past due collections in conjunction with sales. Administrates and executes payroll activities. Supports employee onboarding functions via PayChex. Sales support including occasional floor activities. Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, designing and maintaining filing systems, and providing clerical support. Designs office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements:Up to 5 years of back office management experience with retail accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience; similar industry preferred. Ability to work in a fast paced, customer focused environment. Demonstrated attention to detail. High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and computer skills. High mathematical aptitude to calculate figures and amounts (i.e. discounts, interest, commissions, etc.)Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Work Environment:May be exposed to noise and occasionally exposed to airborne particles. The noise level the work environment is usually moderate.
