Construction Inspector

Job Summary Fastech Consulting Engineering is a Civil Engineering firm. We have an immediate need for Construction Inspector for our New Jersey office. Responsibilities and Duties Construction Inspector primary duties include: Carry out construction inspection assignments Interface with the Contractor and make sure that all construction is done according to the plan and specification Coordinate with utility companies that may have facilities within the job site Coordinate with and have knowledge of requirements of regulatory agencies Identify problems and propose solutions Utilize standard quantity recording and reporting procedures Able to handle overall inspection of small projects with limited direction/instruction from supervisor. Projects to be in North Jersey. Qualifications and Skills BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited college with 1-5 years of experience in Construction Inspection Experience with Streetscape projects is a plus Knowledge of ADA curb ramp is a must Strong written, oral, communication, organizational skills will be required Valid driver licensed required.
