Senior Director Regional Development

Position Summary: The Regional Director of Development at KVC Foundation plans and oversees diverse fundraising efforts, including individual, corporate, foundation, and organizational giving, aimed at meeting annual and capital goals. They cultivate relationships with internal teams, council members, volunteers, and stakeholders to achieve fundraising objectives through strategic regional initiatives, personal solicitation, grants, special events, and other avenues. Location: St. Louis, MO Schedule: Hybrid Education: Bachelor’s Degree Experience: Five (5) years’ experience in non-profit development with track record of fundraising success Supervision of professional development staff and agency volunteers Preferred Experience/Skills: Raiser’s Edge proficiency Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment Licensure/Certification: Valid drivers license Valid Auto Insurance At least 21 years old Qualifications: Demonstrated record of successful annual and capital fundraising. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with donors, staff, and volunteers. An understanding of regional civic and business communities Exceptional, verbal, analytical and written communication skills Possess a current, valid driver's license and meet requirements for insurance Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and related software packages; donor database experience Essential Duties: Develop and execute strategic fundraising initiatives to meet agency budget goals for private support Lead regional advancement efforts in coordination with trustees, volunteers, staff and community constituents Develop, execute and monitor development strategies to enhance cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of regional donors Identify and solicit major gift prospects; develop dynamic relationship strategies Direct annual and long-term strategic planning process Oversee regional development activities including special events, community relations and other related areas.
