We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician II opportunity at NDX Nelson in Rochester Hills, MI.The regular hours for this position are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!Primary Responsibilities And Essential Job Functions Of The PositionRead prescriptions and specifications received from the dentistCheck models for defect that need correcting before fabrication beginsCheck articulation of models for proper occlusal relationshipPost dam upper modelsSet pin on articulator to establish vertical relationshipDouble check teeth to be used for correct mold and shadePlace wax on baseplate and set teeth on the arch in proper alignment to achieve proper function and good aestheticsWhen setting for wax try-in, soak model in water before set-up. Check occlusion to be sure correct bite relationship has been achievedMaintain a clean work areaAll other duties as assignedSkills And Abilities RequiredSet Up (select and setup teeth)Must be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishExcellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityDetail orientedMinimum Education And Experience RequiredPreferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent Hazardous Materials Or Equipment UsedSmall machineryHand piecesChemicalsPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods of time
