Apply via Dice today!Job Title: Full Stack Developer (React)Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)Responsibilities:Lead a team of developers to design, develop and deploy robust, scalable and secure software solutions in compliance with enterprise standardsWork closely with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver featuresOwn the architecture and technical direction for new features and productsDevelop architecture diagrams, detailed design diagrams, interfaces working with all the dependent technical teamsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers to foster growth and ensure best practices are followedLead end to end development from User interface to server side logic to database management for all applications under the squadHands on development, root cause analysis, defect analysis as neededConduct code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and improve team skillsProvide direction and recommendations on solutions for security vulnerabilitiesRepresent Security variances in Security Technology review meetingsIdentify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure system scalability, reliability, availabilityDrive high standards for code quality, testing and documentationProvide recommendations for tools and develop plans and strategies to improve overall hygiene for code development, delivery and release practicesContinue to develop a culture of modern software development practicesOwn the applications and operational system tasks associated with the applicationsEnsure seamless communication between development teams, other departments such as QA, Enterprise Architecture etcEnsure timely delivery and continuous improvementStay up to date with latest trends in full stack development continuously researching and evaluating new technologies that can improve applicationsSkills:Experienced and adept at trouble shooting and debuggingMust understand and have implemented core development principlesExperience working with RESTful API design, SOAP services and microservices architectureProficient in front end development using React JS, Angular, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, ES6Relational Database experience (SQL, Oracle), Other (Mongo DB is a must)Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, code management (bitbucket, Gitlab), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructureUtilized code review tools such as SonarQubeExperience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Mocha etcKnowledge of Siebel CRM webservices is a plusHands on experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teamsStrong problem-solving abilities and ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environmentDriven leader with ability to mentor and motivate team members and foster positive and productive team cultureExperience working in agile development environment (Kanban, Scrum)Experience:8+ years in full stack software development with hands on experience with front end (React, Angular), backend technologies (java, node.js) and web service integrations, and min 2 years of leading engineers.5+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL, MongoDB5+ years of experience in banking / finance industryQualification:Batchelor's degree with computer science or equivalent
