A well-established boutique law firm on the peninsula is seeking a trust and estate attorney to join its growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with high-net-worth individuals and families on a wide range of estate planning and administration matters.ResponsibilitiesConsult with clients to understand their estate planning goals and guide them through the process.Draft comprehensive estate planning documents and oversee the process from initiation to completion.Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing their inquiries.Manage and execute all aspects of trust administration and probate proceedings.Collaborate effectively with partners, senior attorneys, and other team members to deliver client-focused solutions.Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout all legal processes.Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations as required.Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Handle discovery processes and prepare for evidentiary hearings when necessary.QualificationsJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Active membership and license to practice law in the State Bar of California.Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning and trust administration.Familiarity with trust and probate litigation, including participation in evidentiary hearings, is an advantage.Excellent analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities independently.Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.Must be available to work on-site; this is not a remote position.
