Radiologic Technologist - Baylor - Up to $13,500 Sign-On Bonus
Job OverviewHere at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at our University of Minnesota Medical Center - West Bank location in Minneapolis, MN! This is a .9 FTE Baylor (work 48 hours, paid for 72 hours) position that will work every Saturday and Sunday from 7PM - 7:30AM.This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.ResponsibilitiesMaintains patient carePerforms examinationsIdentifies relevant data from images accurately.Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professionalParticipates in creating a culture of patient safetyDemonstrates knowledge of emergency preparednessVerify patient identification and documentationCommunicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of examAchieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol.Ensures patient data integrityAccurately completes computer functions; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely mannerAccurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archivingRequired QualificationsARRT Registration or Registration for modality specific (e.g. NMTCB, RDMS), or registry eligible with successful completion (Ultrasound within 18 months) within 90 DaysBasic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)Benefit OverviewFairview offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO/vacation and Safe and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement and more!
