Job Description Thinkpath Engineering Services is looking for a skilled Moldmaker to work onsite at a customer’s facility located in Troy, OH. This would be a contract-to-direct hire position, as we are searching for someone to fill the opportunity long-term.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mold design and fabrication, demonstrating proficiency in various machining processes. This role is essential for producing high-quality molds that meet production standards and specifications. The Moldmaker will work collaboratively with engineers and production staff to ensure timely delivery of molds while maintaining the highest quality standards.Job Duties:Setup/Operate manual equipment (knee mill, surface grinders, lathe, EDM, etcPerform maintenance and repairs on Plastic Injection Molds, Fixtures and related tooling/gages Make Mold details from Drawings/CAD Models and hold necessary tolerancesFollow Safety system requirements as neededFollow Quality System Requirements as neededAbility/willingness to learn new processes such as CAD/CNCQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 2-5 years’ experience working in mold building/machining environmentAbility to read BlueprintsExperience with mold making tools, gages and equipmentApplicant will be capable of reading blueprints, evaluating dimensional information, use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.Applicant will be responsible for producing accurate machined details from various types of machinery used in the building of Molds, Fixtures and GagesDemonstrates a reasonable level of mechanical aptitudeWorks well in team environment.Prefer some level of experience with the following: CAD/CAM/CNC/WeldingCompany DescriptionThinkpath Engineering Services, LLC (TES) has been a global leader in Engineering and Design Services since 1977.
