Quality Control TechnicianQuality & CompliancePerform internal audits and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards Maintain and update the Master Document List to ensure all documents are current Verify documentation accuracy (no white-out, proper corrections, complete records) Ensure all documents meet current revision requirements Identify and report documents requiring updates Food Safety & HACCPMaintain or obtain HACCP certification within a reasonable timeframe Conduct monthly Listeria swabbing (manage location list, PO, COC, and results) Review sanitation reports and ensure compliance with procedures Assist with Change Management and New Product documentationPlant Audits & InspectionsPerform plant inspections and Glass & Brittle Plastic monthly auditsComplete reports and distribute to management and maintenance teams Communicate findings and follow up on corrective actions Sanitation & Operations SupportCollaborate with sanitation crew to address issues and improve processes Provide guidance on sanitation procedures, equipment breakdown, and deficiencies Maintain strong communication between sanitation and plant operations Reporting & CommunicationProvide a Weekly Plant Snapshot / Operational Compliance SummaryReport unusual occurrences, repairs, or operational changes Lead monthly management meetings and document notes for SQF records Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport new product trials and document findings Assist with customer complaint investigations (data gathering) Research and compile information such as packaging specs, labels, and ingredients QualificationsBackground in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, or related fieldHACCP certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams Experience in food manufacturing is a plus How to Apply: email your resume to: jobs@losurdofoods.com Or Apply in person between 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM at: 78 Sam Stratton Rd.
