Founder Coach, Alpha - $150,000/year USD
$150,000 per year, paid weekly. Health benefits start on day one.On-site in Austin, TX (we provide relocation support)The best way to support a teenager launching a business is to hold them to high standards without compromise. You see rigorous expectations not as a burden, but as a signal of belief in what they can achieve. If that perspective makes sense to you, read on.You'll be working with high school students running real companies with $1M upside—not hypothetical exercises or classroom simulations. Expect to allocate 60-65% of your time to 1:1 coaching: pinpointing blockers, isolating the highest-impact next step, and enforcing accountability around a concrete action plan. The remaining 35-40% will cover academic monitoring and delivering workshops designed to build usable skills, not passive knowledge. This isn't a traditional educator role. You're accountable for the full picture: venture momentum, academic performance, and personal development. You'll rely on dashboards, business metrics, and grade data to coach with clarity, not guesswork. If a student's grades begin to drop, you step in before it escalates. If a business flatlines, you surface the actual issue, not the easy one. You'll begin by learning each student's venture, their natural strengths, and where they typically get stuck. Over time, you become the voice they listen to because you've built credibility through real-world experience. The payoff is seeing a 16-year-old arrive with a concept and leave with a live business, the habits to sustain it, and a transcript that keeps every option available. If you've been searching for a position where your hands-on operating background directly influences emerging founders, submit your application. If you prefer structured lesson plans, predictable routines, or environments where effort alone is celebrated, this role isn't the right fit. What You Will Be DoingConducting 1:1 coaching sessions with student founders on strategy, execution, and scaling questions—this takes up approximately two-thirds of your timeAnalyzing student dashboards, business performance data, and academic records to identify obstacles and clarify prioritiesTracking academic results and stepping in proactively when concentration or time management begins to falterDesigning and running workshops that deliver tangible, applied-learning outcomesFacilitating stand-ups, debriefs, and group sessions that hold students accountable to the commitments they've madeWhat You Won’t Be DoingTeaching from a script or delivering traditional lectures (you drive applied learning, not didactic instruction)Offering general advice or inspiration without tying it to specific, trackable actionsHandling administrative tasks like scheduling, forms, or enrollment coordinationAttending routine faculty meetings or dealing with institutional processes (your focus remains on student impact)Founder Coach Key ResponsibilitiesGuide student founders toward ventures with $1M potential while ensuring they maintain strong academic standing.Basic RequirementsAble to work on-site at Alpha High School in Austin, TX (relocation support available)Minimum of 2 years coaching or developing others (team members, peers, or clients), with a concrete example of a coaching engagement and its measurable resultsProfessional background owning critical outcomes or KPIs, including at least one instance where your work contributed to $500,000+ in annual revenue impactAt least 1 year working directly with young people (students, junior professionals, or youth program participants) on initiatives, skill development, or entrepreneurial projectsLegal authorization to work in the United StatesNice-to-have RequirementsDirect experience founding, co-founding, or running a startup or early-stage ventureTrack record as a Chief of Staff, program owner, or top-tier individual contributor with full ownership of end-to-end resultsFamiliarity with AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Copilot) to enhance coaching preparation, insight generation, or messagingExperience in K-12 education, EdTech, or programs integrating academics with practical application (such as accelerators, project-based curricula, or entrepreneurship initiatives)About AlphaWant to join a learning rebellion that’s transforming the traditional classroom?
