This dual-role position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys engaging with guests to create memorable dining experiences.The Server/Bartender is responsible for providing attentive table service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming and organized environment. This role requires strong product knowledge, the ability to multitask seamlessly between bar and floor service, and a commitment to upholding high service standards. Schedule: Part-time; must be available for AM/PM shifts, including weekends.Essential Functions:Provide a full-service dining experience, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar and restaurant guestsOffer knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, cocktails, wine, and beer selections.Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining, and service areasAccurately process guest payments following established proceduresMonitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelinesSupport team members by assisting with drink preparation and service needsRestock bar and service areas, ensuring all items are properly stored and readily availablePromote specials, events, and upsell menu offeringsAddress guest needs promptly and professionally to enhance the overall experienceReport maintenance or operational concerns to managementAdditional Responsibilities:Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and service standardsMaintain flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needsEnsure all cash handling and end-of-shift procedures are completed accuratelyEducation and Experience:Previous experience as both a restaurant server and a bartender is requiredSkills and Abilities:Strong knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktail preparationExcellent communication and guest service skillsAbility to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand for extended periods and work in indoor/outdoor conditions as neededDonohoe Hospitality Services offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and hotel room discounts.
