Sign Language Interpreter Opportunities in Jenks, OK - School-Based Travel PositionsWe are seeking skilled Sign Language Interpreters to support high school students in Jenks, OK. These roles involve 1:1 interpreting assignments working closely with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Assignments include both full-time (35 to 37.5 hours per week) and part-time schedules, with opportunities to travel between nearby buildings.Key Responsibilities:Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation services for high school students, including those with severe and profound needs.Attend to a student's communication needs during classes and related activities.Travel to a secondary building less than a mile from the high school with the student as required.Collaborate with school staff and specialists to facilitate communication and learning.Qualifications:EIPA Score of 4.0 or higher, or RID/NAD Certification required.Successful completion of the Quality Assurance Screening Test (QAST) at Level III or above.Minimum of 2 years of sign language interpreting experience preferred.Ability to work flexible hours Monday through Friday in the specified schedule.Location:Jenks, Oklahoma, with travel between buildings during the school day.Benefits:Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) retirement plan options through Principal Financial.Competitive pay ranging from $30 to $35 per hour.
