OverviewMerchandise Associate (Part-Time) position with the Santa Cruz Warriors for the 2025-26 basketball season. Responsible for greeting customers and assisting with merchandise questions or concerns. Flexible to work in the merchandise trailer during games and in the retail store on Saturdays and Sundays. Reports to Manager, Marketing. This is a part-time position located onsite in Santa Cruz, CA.About The PositionThe Santa Cruz Warriors are looking to hire a part-time Merchandise Associate for the 2025-26 basketball season. We are seeking hardworking and passionate professionals who will be responsible for greeting customers and assisting with merchandise questions or concerns. An ideal candidate will be flexible to work in our merchandise trailer during games and in our retail store on Saturdays and Sundays. This position will report to Manager, Marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and provide outstanding customer service with high energy and willingness to help othersAssist customers by showing and providing information on specific productsProvide suggestions and opinions to help customer make product selections, while achieving sales goalsChecks inventory on regular bases to maintain a fully stocked store front and trailerFulfill online orders and process all sales, exchanges and returns via a POS systemRequired Experience & Skills6-12 months of public-facing customer service experience, preferably in a sales roleOutstanding cash handling experience and available on weekends and all game nights (24 games)Available for special events during the season (e.g. season ticket holder viewing parties during weeks with away games)Compensation$16.50 per hourEqual OpportunitySanta Cruz Warriors is an equal opportunity employer.
