Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to Founder & CIO Top-Tier Hedge Fund | Midtown Manhattan Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 salary dependent on experience Benefits: Full benefits, employer-paid health insurance Location: Midtown East, NYC (office relocating mid-April) Hours: 7:30/8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (not a true 24/7 role) The Opportunity This is a rare opportunity to support the Founder & Chief Investment Officer of a highly regarded hedge fund in a family-office-style environment. The role is central, respected, and intended to be long-term. The Founder is thoughtful, direct, and values excellence without unnecessary chaos. Expectations are high, but boundaries are clear. The right EA will be proactive, socially polished, and take pride in being a true partner. This is not a stepping-stone role or a position for someone looking to move out of executive support. ⸻ Responsibilities Serve as primary Executive Assistant (approximately 80% executive / 20% personal) Manage complex calendars, meetings, and daily priorities with foresight Act as a front-facing professional with investors and senior stakeholders Coordinate business and personal travel (moderate; not extensive) Schedule and manage high-level meetings, dinners, and social engagements Oversee light personal support including family scheduling and key dates Support investor-side administrative needs with discretion and precision Partner closely with internal teams in a ~30-person organization Anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and keep operations running seamlessly ⸻ The Executive & Culture Founder-led, family-office-style environment Extremely smart, direct, and respectful Busy but not chaotic Values loyalty, discretion, and long-term relationships Expects high-quality work Collaborative, team-oriented culture ⸻ Qualifications Proven experience supporting a Founder, CIO, or senior investment executive Hedge fund, private equity, or family office experience College degree required Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Polished, socially aware, and comfortable interacting with investors Exceptional judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence Team player who takes pride in being indispensable Well versed & connected with NYC food scene / exclusive clubs ⸻ Additional Details Office relocating to Midtown East in mid-April Potential to travel with executive on private aircraft Business and personal travel coordination required Full benefits with strong employer contribution Long-term role with a leader who genuinely values and invests in their people Pay: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
