This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality work on various substrates. Day-to-day tasks include mixing and adjusting inks, monitoring press operation, performing quality checks, and making necessary adjustments to meet specifications. The Press Operator will also handle routine machine cleaning, minor repairs, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime, while following all safety procedures and production schedules. Collaboration with pre-press, production, and quality teams is expected to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely completion of jobs.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and Printing, with experience running flexographic or similar printing presses.Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including monitoring print quality, color accuracy, and adherence to job specifications.Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting, with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical and process issues on press.Candidates should possess skills in Pre-press, such as understanding plate mounting, ink selection, and job setup requirements.Ability to read and follow work orders, production instructions, and safety guidelines.Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required by the job.Previous experience in flexographic or industrial printing environments is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in printing or manufacturing is a plus.
