Post-Production Specialist
DescriptionIt’s Plein Air Agency is a leading marketing consultancy focusing on the restaurant and hospitality industry providing solutions from Creative, Production, Media Strategy & Buying, Digital Content to Website and Mobile App development. We are a fully remote agency and are looking for remote talent to join our team!We're looking for a resourceful, creatively driven Post-Production Specialist with a sharp eye for storytelling and a passion for making content that actually moves people and performs. The right candidate knows how to work with what they've got: existing footage, client clips, photography, and GIFs can all become something great in the right hands. You'll be expected to find the story in the assets, not wait for a perfect shoot.This role sits at the intersection of editing craft and creative thinking. You'll be building deliverables that live everywhere, from Instagram Reels and TikTok to YouTube and beyond, so you need to understand how format, aspect ratio, and pacing change what "good" looks like across platforms. You'll also create basic motion graphics for titles, logos, and end frames, and apply color grades that make the work feel polished and ready to publish.You'll work closely with art directors, strategists, and account teams to understand the creative direction, then bring it to life in the edit. Equally important, you'll be expected to proactively bring ideas to the table, spotting opportunities in existing footage libraries to create new content our clients didn't know they needed. When footage doesn't exist, you'll know how to use AI tools to expand assets, animate still photography, and fill creative gaps in a way that feels intentional and on-brand. We're a team that leans into new technology, and we want someone who's genuinely curious about what AI can unlock in the edit bay.We are a distributed company, so you will have lots of video meetings, but you can work from anywhere that has good internet.Please note: All applicants must submit a demo reel or portfolio of edited work to be considered.ResponsibilitiesEdit existing footage, photography, GIFs, and mixed-media assets into polished, platform-ready deliverablesCreate basic motion graphics for lower thirds, title cards, logo animations, and end framesApply color grades that are clean, consistent, and ready to go live, with good judgment over heavy-handed correctionBalancing dialogue and music with basic sound mixesDevelop and maintain a working knowledge of aspect ratios, file specs, and export requirements for social media, YouTube, and paid digital platformsProactively identify opportunities to repurpose and reimagine existing content libraries into new creative executions for clientsUse AI tools to extend, animate, and enhance still photography and existing assets when new footage isn't availableStay curious and experimental about emerging AI video tools and incorporate them into your workflow where they serve the creativeCollaborate with creative and account teams to understand project goals, brand voice, and audienceManage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time without sacrificing qualityStay current on platform trends, video formats, and emerging content stylesRequirements3 to 5 years of professional video editing experience, ideally in an agency or content production environmentHigh level of proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphicsExperience with Davinci Resolve is welcome, but not requiredSolid understanding of color grading and correction, not colorist-level, but it has to look greatUnderstanding of basic sound mixingDemonstrated ability to work with mixed media: footage, stills, GIFs, and graphics all in one timelineStrong sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytellingExperience editing for multiple platforms and formats (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, etc.)Good organizational skills when working with footage and Post workflowsExcellent time management and ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with strong communication skills and the ability to take and give clear feedbackComfort with AI video and image tools (Runway, Pika, Adobe Firefly, or similar) and a willingness to keep exploring as the landscape evolvesA strong demo reel or portfolio of published work
