Recognized by Gartner for excellence in Third-Party Maintenance (TPM), OSI helps enterprises optimize costs and performance through flexible support, lifecycle, and professional service solutions.About the RoleWe’re seeking a mid-level Full Stack Developer for a 6-month contract engagement to accelerate development of the internal and customer-facing platforms that run OSI’s business, with the option to convert to a full-time role based on performance and business need. This is a backend-heavy role: roughly 90% of your time will be spent in Python and FastAPI, with the rest across our React/TypeScript frontend and PostgreSQL database. We use AI coding tools like Claude to move fast, and we’re looking for a developer who can put them to work while fully owning the quality of the code that ships.What You’ll DoDesign, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in Python and FastAPI.Build and extend frontend features in React/TypeScript.Write SQL, design schemas, and manage migrations in PostgreSQL.Work within an existing codebase – read it closely and follow its established patterns and conventions.Use AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude) to speed development, then review, test, and debug generated code before it ships.Manage code through GitHub, including pull requests, code review, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.Partner with the Director of Technology & Systems and business stakeholders to turn requirements into working software.Document your work so it can be maintained and extended by the wider team.What We’re Looking For3–5 years of professional software development experience across backend, frontend, and database.Strong experience with Python and FastAPI – this is the core of the role.Strong experience with React/TypeScript; solid experience in another modern JavaScript framework will also be considered.Experience with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred, not required).Ability to quickly read and understand an existing codebase and match its patterns and conventions.Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.Comfort using AI coding tools, backed by the fundamentals to review, test, and debug their output.Ability to ramp up quickly and deliver meaningful results within a defined engagement.Nice to HaveFamiliarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) architecture.Familiarity with LLM APIs and common design patterns (tool calling, prompt design, structured outputs).If you have strong full stack experience, these can be learned quickly on the job – don’t let them stop you from applying.Why Join OSI GlobalFounder-led company emphasizing agility, integrity, and customer focus.Direct, visible impact – the tools you build are used across the business.Modern stack and an AI-forward development workflow.Competitive contract rate, with a clear path to full-time employment and benefits.Fast-growing team with an entrepreneurial culture and global reach.
