Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision 401 (K) with generous company match Generous Paid time off (PTO) Vacation, sick, and paid holidays Life Insurance coverageJob DetailsResponsibilities:Develop cost estimates for electrical systems - including purchased components, design & install laborDesign of electrical hardware circuit and safety control circuit for automated machines and equipmentCreate electrical hardware drawings and schematicsLead projects including design review meetings with production, maintenance, quality control, and others as neededProgram machine software (PLC, robot, vision, HMI, etc.)Debug of programming during machine build and early-stage runningResearch, develop, test, design, and implement current and new technologiesProvide on-going technical support for in house technicians in the machine-building groupSupport/advise with machine specification development for outsourcing activitiesPrepare, update, and deliver professional training materials, such as operation manuals, instructions, and technical reportsServe as a technical steward for emerging technologies and team development.Qualifications:BS in electrical engineering, Electrical Technology or Mechatronics, AS degree in a related engineering field and combination of relevant experience can be considered.8+ years of experience working as controls engineer or related roleAnalytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsFormal training or extensive experience on PLCs (Allen Bradley, OMRON), Robotics, AutoCAD ElectricalStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven project completion history with successful resultsIndependently manage a workload consisting of long-term projects and unplanned day-to-day prioritiesInterested in hearing more?
