Senior Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with expertise in Java, Microservices, and API development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable, high-performance applications and services, with a strong focus on microservices architecture and API integration. Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications and microservices.Build and manage RESTful APIs to integrate with various systems and services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code.Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.Qualifications:Strong experience with Java, including Java 8 or higher.Expertise in building and maintaining microservices architecture.Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.Experience with Spring Boot and other related Java frameworks.Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred:Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector.Understanding of security practices in financial applications.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
