Senior IT Applications Solution Architect – DatabricksWe are seeking an experienced Senior IT Applications Solution Architect specializing in Databricks to lead the architecture, governance, and end-to-end design of a next-generation enterprise Lakehouse platform.In this strategic role, you will serve as a senior technical authority, bridging enterprise business strategy and technical execution. You will design scalable, secure, and resilient data application integrations while establishing architecture standards and governance frameworks.Key Responsibilities:• Define and maintain enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and governance frameworks for the Databricks Lakehouse platform. • Design scalable, secure, and resilient data application solutions and integrations. • Develop end-to-end data engineering and application integration patterns using Databricks Delta Live Tables (DLT). • Collaborate with enterprise application architects, data architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders. • Translate business requirements into scalable and technically sound architecture solutions. • Establish coding standards, design patterns, architecture review processes, and engineering best practices. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. • Communicate architectural trade-offs, platform capabilities, and FinOps/cost optimization considerations to executive leadership. • Drive enterprise data governance, security, scalability, reliability, and platform modernization initiatives.Required Skills:• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and enterprise Lakehouse architecture • Experience with Delta Live Tables (DLT) • Data engineering and enterprise application integration experience • Strong knowledge of data architecture, governance, security, and scalable solution design • Experience defining architecture standards, frameworks, and design patterns • Knowledge of cloud platforms and distributed data systems • Experience with technical leadership and architecture governance • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to collaborate with engineering teams and executive leadership👍 Follow our LinkedIn page[Hector Systems Inc] for the latest IT job opportunities, hiring updates, and career opportunities across the U.S.
