Event Tent Installation Foreman

Job Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated Event Tent Installation Foreman to lead our installation crew. This position is responsible for supervising tent installation teams, ensuring the timely and safe setup and breakdown of tents, stages, dance floors, lighting, and related event equipment at customer sites throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in tent installation and demonstrate strong leadership abilities in managing crews and coordinating event installations. Schedule is Monday through Friday approximately 730am to 530pm. Some occasional night and weekend work. Complete application/ email resume only. No phone calls please.Supervision & LeadershipLead and supervise tent installation crews on job sitesCoordinate daily work assignments and ensure crew members understand installation plansTrain crew members on proper installation techniques and safety proceduresConduct pre-job site assessments and review installation plans with teamEnsure all installations meet company standards and customer specificationsInstallation & SetupOversee the installation and dismantling of party tents, frame tents, pole tents, and sailcloth tentsDirect setup of stages, dance floors, tables, chairs, and event lightingEnsure proper installation and layout of all rentals per agreement, specifications, and CAD diagramsWork closely with Operations team to coordinate event timelinesInspect tents and accessories for damages before and after installationsSafety & Quality ControlEnforce all safety guidelines and company procedures on job sitesConduct quality inspections to ensure installations meet standardsAddress any issues or concerns that arise during installationsEnsure crew compliance with manufacturer guidelines for tent structuresComplete necessary paperwork and documentation for each jobRequired QualificationsPrevious experience in tent installation is requiredPrevious supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferredAbility to read and interpret installation plans, diagrams, and specificationsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesValid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and varied schedules based on event demandsPhysical capability to perform demanding work including: Lifting up to 80 pounds or moreBending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periodsWorking outdoors in various weather conditions
