Director Corporate DevelopmentMARIETTA OFFICE - MARIETTA, GA 30062OverviewPosition Type Full Time Indirect Job Shift Day Education Level Master's Degree Travel Percentage 25% to 50% Category Business DevelopmentDescriptionThe Director, Corporate Development is responsible for driving ATS's inorganic growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions and strategic initiatives. This role partners closely with senior leadership to identify, evaluate, and execute high-impact transactions that align with enterprise growth priorities.Responsibilities:Identify, evaluate, and source acquisition targets by building relationships with company owners, advisors, investment bankers, and intermediariesDevelop and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities aligned with company strategy across multi-site operationsLead transactions from initial assessment through closing, including structuring and negotiating letters of intent and definitive agreementsPerform financial modeling and valuation analyses including discounted cash flow, comparable company, and precedent transaction methodsCoordinate with internal stakeholders such as legal, finance, operations, and technical teams throughout the transaction lifecycleManage external advisors and ensure alignment across all parties during deal executionLead comprehensive due diligence across financial, legal, tax, operational, commercial, and technical areasIdentify key risks and opportunities and present findings to senior leadershipDevelop investment memos, strategic rationale, and presentation materials for executive approvalQualificationsRequired Experience and Skills:7-10+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, or corporate developmentDemonstrated success executing transactions in complex, multi-site environmentsStrong financial modeling and valuation expertiseExperience managing end-to-end M&A transaction processesAbility to build and maintain relationships with business owners, advisors, and private equity firmsStrong written and verbal communication skills with executive presenceSelf-starter with ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentAdditional requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen or equivalent to comply with U.S. Department of Defense ITAR requirementsWork Conditions:Primarily office-based with frequent cross-functional collaborationMay require travel for deal sourcing, diligence, and transaction executionFast-paced, deadline-driven environment supporting strategic growth initiatives
