Job Description We are looking for an Accountant to join our Audit team! If you are passionate about ensuring financial integrity and compliance with accuracy and efficiency, we encourage you to apply for this position.Responsibilities:Assist in performing audit engagements for various entities including profit, non-for-profit, 401(k), and governmental entitiesTest financial data and evaluate effectiveness of internal controlsDocument audit procedures and prepare detailed workpapersReview financial records and systems for compliance with industry standards and organizational policiesReport analysis and findings with observations, conclusions, and recommendations to management teamCollaborate as needed with other team members and partners​Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA preferred but not requiredPrevious experience in auditing, accounting or other related fieldsFundamental knowledge of GAAPFamiliarity with accounting software, spreadsheet analysis, data analytics tools, and other audit platformsDetail and deadline-orientedStrong analytical and problem solving skillsHigh degree of ethics and integritySalary dependent on education, experience, and certifications.Company DescriptionMcDaniel & Associates is Dothan's first full-service accounting firm.
