Clinical Operations Supervisor

Job Description: Oversee the daily operations of the continuum of surgical services and med-surg nursing departments.Supervise nursing and support staff.Ensure proper staffing levels by assisting with scheduling, assignments, and workload distribution.Monitor and evaluate patient care practices.Mentor, coach, and provide ongoing education and training to OR nursing staff.Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.Assist in incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or related field required.3+ years of experience in a healthcare or clinical coordination role, preferably in musculoskeletal care or surgical services.Licensed clinician (RN) strongly preferred.Knowledge of musculoskeletal clinical practices, workflows, or rehabilitation care preferred.Knowledge of government regulations and codes including but not limited to The Joint Commission, DNV, State Agencies, ARRA, COLA, Pharmacy Board, and Nursing Board.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of professional, administrative, technical and clerical staff in both a direct and indirect influential situation.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Ability to effectively use computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, E-mail, and database software in performing work assignments.Benefits: Professional development activitiesFlexible hours to support patient education and program activities
