Senior Java Developer

In this role, you will lead the development and maintenance of complex backend systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions, implement best practices in system architecture, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle. Your expertise will drive the creation of robust APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-based applications that meet evolving business needs. *Duties* * Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java and related technologies such as Spring Boot and Hibernate. * Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to support front-end applications and third-party integrations. * Collaborate with front-end developers to create seamless UI experiences utilizing React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. * Architect system components with UML diagrams and system design principles to ensure maintainability and extensibility. * Implement unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to uphold high-quality standards across projects. * Work within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver iterative improvements on time. * Utilize version control tools like GitHub, SVN, or TFS for efficient code management and collaboration. * Optimize database interactions with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions like MongoDB. * Integrate cloud infrastructure services such as AWS or Azure for deployment and scalability purposes. * Participate in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps to streamline releases. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in software engineering with a focus on Java development in a professional setting. * Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core is a plus; familiarity with.NET frameworks is beneficial. * Extensive experience with web development including HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON, XML, and RESTful API design. * Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React.js and React Express for building responsive UI components. * Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, multithreading, system design for scalability, and cloud infrastructure deployment. * Hands-on experience with database design using relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB. * Familiarity with application development tools such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, or similar IDEs. * Knowledge of software development best practices including SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), UML modeling, version control (Git), unit testing frameworks, and Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban. * Experience working with web services including SOAP/WCF and REST APIs for seamless data exchange across platforms. * Ability to debug complex issues efficiently while maintaining high standards for code quality. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
