COMPENSATION: $120K–$135K base + annual bonus
Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a key finance partner to manufacturing plant leadership and supply chain management. This role drives plant productivity, profitability, and operational performance by delivering actionable financial insights, strengthening KPI accountability, and supporting strategic initiatives that impact cost structure and growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Planning & Performance Management
Partner with plant leadership to develop, monitor, and execute annual productivity and profitability targets
Support the Annual Operating Plan, Forecast-to-Actual analysis, and variance reporting
Provide financial insights into cost drivers, trends, risks, and performance opportunities
KPI Development & Operational Improvement
Develop, implement, and educate business partners on meaningful non-financial KPIs
Partner with plant and supply chain leaders to design initiatives that improve key performance metrics
Identify opportunities to enhance plant productivity and operational efficiency
Strategic & Capital Support
Advise plant leadership and Market Unit partners on strategic initiatives, including sourcing changes, capital investments, and innovation projects
Evaluate financial impact of proposed operational improvements and business decisions
Plant Engagement & Cost Control
Conduct regular plant walkthroughs to assess production processes and identify cost-related improvement opportunities
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational and cost variances
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–8 years of progressive Finance experience
Finance and cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required
ERP and planning software experience
Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
Demonstrated problem-solving and financial modeling skills
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with a customer-service oriented mindset
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a manufacturing environment
