Job Description Now interviewing Pipefitters in the Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland area! Pipefitter Responsibilities Include Install commercial & industrial piping systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, condensed water. Must be versed with multiple materials of pipe (Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Copper, RIGID etc.) Cutting or boring holes in structures Fabricate pipe supports. Troubleshooting problems. Inspecting, examining, or testing installed systems. Pipefitter Qualifications Minimum 5 years experience in the commercial or industrial construction industry preferred. Knowledge of pipefitter equipment and power tools. Tools of the trade and the ability to bring them to job sites. Strong work ethic with a positive and calm mindset. Able to lift up to 50lbs frequently throughout the shift. Able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time. Perform mathematical calculations pertaining to the manipulation of angles such as rolling offsets, cutback of fittings, and takeout between welds and other fits.
