Packaging Automation Technician / Packaging Mechanic (High‑Speed Equipment) Location: Bartlett, IL Rate: $37 - $43 per hour Full time Shifts: 1st and 2nd available Work for a thriving, international manufacturer known for cutting‑edge automation, premium products, and serious investment in its people. This operation runs high‑speed, modern packaging lines and is expanding its technical team to support continued growth. You’ll be trained, supported, and trusted to work on some of the most advanced packaging equipment in the industry. The role This is a specialist mechanical position focused on optimizing high‑speed packaging lines. You won’t just fix breakdowns — you’ll fine‑tune, align, calibrate, and improve performance to keep lines running efficiently with minimal waste and downtime. What you’ll be doing Maintaining and optimizing cartoners, flow wrappers, and automated packaging systems Precision mechanical adjustment: timing, alignment, infeed and transfer systems Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, sensor, and servo‑driven components Supporting changeovers, line setups, and new equipment installs Root‑cause problem solving to improve long‑term line performance What we’re looking for 2+ years working with high‑speed packaging machinery (food, beverage, CPG, pharma) Strong mechanical skills with exposure to sensors, servos, and automation Experience with cartoners, flow wrappers, or similar equipment PLC exposure is a plus (not required) OEM‑specific experience not required - full training provided Why apply?
