Qualifications for a Radiologic Technologist: Graduation from an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification. New Jersey DEP License. Responsibilities for a Radiologic Technologist: Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines. Position patients appropriately and utilize imaging equipment to capture clear and detailed images of the targeted anatomical areas. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing reassurance and addressing any concerns or questions. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review imaging results and assist in the interpretation as needed.
