Automation Engineer

The Resident Engineer delivers on‑site technical support for advanced robotics solutions, ensuring equipment reliability, resolving issues, and acting as the main liaison between customers and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide on‑site technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair to maintain optimal equipment performance.Configure and integrate hardware such as robots, servers, conveyors, and scanners.Conduct hardware and systems testing, perform integration tests, and resolve technical issues.Assist clients during and after deployment, responding promptly to service requests.Implement automation systems including AGV, ACR, AMR, and conveyor equipment.Support software testing and WMS integration efforts.Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and operations teams to ensure service quality and operational efficiency.Manage spare parts ordering and inventory, ensuring availability and maintaining quality control.Qualifications1+ years of experience with AGV, ACR, or AMR implementations.Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.Familiarity with WMS integration and PLCs.Understanding of common networking concepts such as VPNs, firewalls, and routers.Strong communication skills.Preferred SkillsScripting experience.Experience supporting client operations post‑deployment.Knowledge of SQL and systems integration.
