Agency and vendor inquiries will not be considered.Security Engineer (AppSec / Detection) – RemoteLocations: CA, IL, NY, FL, TN, TX, GA residents onlySalary: $140K–$160K + full benefitsWe’re hiring a hands-on Security Engineer to strengthen detection, response, and application security in a cloud-first (AWS) environment.Responsibilities: Build and tune SIEM detections (Microsoft Sentinel / KQL)Lead incident response, threat hunting, and investigationsPartner with engineering on secure application design (APIs, auth, threat modeling)Improve visibility across endpoint, network, identity, and cloud systemsDrive vulnerability triage, remediation, and security automationSkills Needed:5+ years in Security Engineering or Security OperationsHands-on experience with SIEM (Sentinel preferred), log analysis, and detection engineeringStrong background in incident response and threat analysisExperience with AWS/cloud environmentsFamiliarity with endpoint security, identity (AD/Azure AD), and enterprise tooling
