This position offers a substantial growth opportunity within a team dedicated to innovation and excellence in industrial automation.Job Summary:As a Robotics Engineer at Marble, you will help lead the development and support of advanced robotics systems for our intelligent automated food processing solutions. You will work at the intersection of robotics, mechanical engineering, AI machine vision, industrial controls, and intelligent software to build automation systems capable of operating in highly variable real-world environments.Responsibilities:Lead the development of robotic systems for cutting and manipulation operationsDesign and prototype fixturing and end-of-arm tooling.Collaborate with vision and controls engineers to develop perception-guided manipulation strategiesIntegrate industrial robotic arms with conveyors, fixtures, and other automated machineryIntegrate robotic arms with industrial control systems, software, and automation equipmentCoordinate robot motion with machine operationsDevelop calibration and coordinate transformation procedures between robots, sensors, and machinesPerform hands-on debugging and tuning of robotic systems during development and commissioningSupport commissioning of robotic systems in lab and production environmentsTroubleshoot robotic system performance and mechanical issuesDocument robotic system designs, integration methods, and operational proceduresMentor technicians and engineersMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar experienceProfessional experience working with robotic systemsStrong mechanical design skillsStrong hands-on problem-solving abilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary engineering teamsAbility to work independently and manage several projects simultaneouslyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to travel as needed during system installation and commissioningPreferred Qualifications:Experience with industrial robot platformsExperience developing low-level robotic programsExperience designing end-of-arm tooling for robotic manipulationExperience integrating robotic systems into industrial automation equipmentExperience with machine vision or sensor-guided robotic manipulationExperience with ROS, Moveit, or similar robotics frameworksOther Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to easily maneuver around and under equipmentMust be comfortable operating in a food processing environmentJob Type: Full-timeLocation: Lincoln, NE or Omaha, NEMarble is an equal-opportunity employer.
