We’re ready to light the way, will you join us?About the RoleAs an Electrical Construction Project Engineer II/III, you will be responsible for the coordination, planning, and execution of project operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with project goals within the Special Projects team. Assists with various administrative and operational tasks throughout the project lifecycle, helping to maintain schedules, documentation, communication, and compliance with company standards.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGather necessary project data to support accurate material selection, dimensional coordination, and integration of owner- or third-party-supplied informationMaintain and track jobsite documentation, including RFIs, ASIs, change orders, and other project-related revisionsCoordinate with other trades to align efforts and ensure proper documentation is shared across disciplinesPrepare and manage submittals, construction schedules, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manualsEstimate and track quantities, and prepare change orders in response to scope modificationsMonitor and document quality assurance processes, maintaining logs and addressing any identified issuesParticipate in project meetings as assigned, contributing to communication, planning, and status updatesTo perform the job of Project Engineer II successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following additional duties in addition to all of the Project Engineer I requirements.Manage the full lifecycle of material and tool procurement, including ordering, releasing, receiving, and tracking to support project needs.Update and distribute revised drawings to ensure all stakeholders have access to the most current project documentationEstimate project impacts, prepare documentation, and maintain accurate tracking of all change ordersDevelop, implement, and monitor quality assurance procedures, including the maintenance of QA logs and resolution of identified issueTo perform the job of Project Engineer III successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following additional duties in addition to all of the Project Engineer I & II requirements.Manage project changes by estimating, preparing, and tracking change orders; develop actionable implementation plans and communicate updates clearly to both field teams and clientsEvaluate new or updated project information to accurately identify and document cost impactsOversee scheduling, subcontract issuance, and performance tracking to ensure alignment with project timelines and milestonesMonitor and assess subcontractor and vendor performance, maintaining accountability and supporting project quality and delivery standardsIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:Solve problems effectively by researching and analyzing information, applying attention to detail, and delivering timely resolutionsProvide exceptional customer service, responding promptly and courteously to requests while fulfilling commitments with professionalismCollaborate as part of a team, balancing individual and group responsibilities, and actively engaging in constructive feedbackCommunicate clearly in writing, presenting information and numerical data with clarity and fluency in EnglishSupport change initiatives by developing practical implementation plans and communicating adjustments with clarity and confidenceDemonstrate adaptability by navigating change, managing competing priorities, and remaining composed during unexpected challengesContribute to a safe work environment by consistently following established safety procedures and promoting a culture of safetyEngage in effective verbal communication by speaking clearly, listening actively, and seeking clarification as neededWe are looking for someone with the following competencies:High school diploma required; a two-year college or university certificate is preferred.
