Role Description The Director of Education & Programming will lead and manage the educational and cultural programs of the congregation. Responsibilities include designing and implementing innovative Jewish educational and community programs, coordinating with staff, volunteers, and committees, and overseeing youth and family engagement. The role also involves administrative duties to ensure the success of ongoing programming initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position, located in Louisville, KY. Qualifications Program Development and Management: Proven ability to design, implement, and oversee educational and cultural programs.Leadership and Collaboration: Strong skills in managing teams, working with committees, and fostering community engagement.Administrative Expertise: Proficiency in organizational tasks, scheduling, and managing budgets for programming activities.Knowledge of Jewish Culture and Traditions: Deep understanding of Jewish values, rituals, and practices, as well as the ability to create inclusive and meaningful experiences.Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to inspire and connect with diverse age groups and backgrounds.Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in education, Jewish studies, or related field; experience in educational programming and/or working within community organizations is highly desirable.Passion for Community Building: Commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and engagement within a diverse community.
