Project Analyst

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified IT Analyst to fill an open position with one of our clients. This is an exciting early career opportunity to build a strong foundation in enterprise project delivery while working within an IT PMO focused on governance, quality, and continuous improvement. In this role, you’ll act as a methodology compliance subject matter expert, helping ensure projects follow established delivery frameworks across agile, waterfall, and iterative models. You’ll collaborate closely with IT delivery teams, business partners, and service providers to strengthen delivery discipline across the IT portfolio.What You’ll Do• Conduct structured project governance and gate reviews to ensure compliance with PMO standards and required deliverables• Assess and validate adherence to approved project management methodologies across the full project lifecycle• Perform quality assurance checks on key project artifacts including charters, schedules, RAID logs, forecasts, and status reports• Partner with stakeholders to provide guidance, identify gaps, support remediation, and contribute to PMO reporting and insightsThe Ideal Candidate• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)• At least 1 year of project-related experience through work, internships, coursework, or volunteer leadership• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with the ability to work independently and collaboratively• Familiarity with project management frameworks such as PMBOK, Agile, or Waterfall• Exposure to PMO, IT project coordination, or tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, MS Project, or SharePoint• Must be in Columbus, OH Reasons to Love It• Excellent entry point into an IT PMO with hands-on exposure to enterprise-scale project governance• Opportunity to learn and apply multiple delivery frameworks across a diverse IT portfolio• Collaborative environment with mentorship and support for professional growth and certifications• Meaningful work supporting critical technology initiatives within the utility industry
