Physical Therapist

We are looking to hire Physical Therapists across Georgia, who are specialized in treating disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system—including bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints. They evaluate, diagnose, and create personalized rehabilitation plans for patients, particularly those recovering from surgeries or suffering from acute/chronic pain. Their goal is to restore mobility, reduce pain, and enhance the overall quality of life.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Patient Assessment & Diagnosis: Evaluate patients' musculoskeletal systems, functional movement, range of motion, and strength.Treatment Planning: Develop individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to specific patient diagnoses, such as post-operative orthopedic recovery or injury rehab.Therapeutic Intervention: Implement treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, stretching, and gait training.Pain & Mobility Management: Use modalities (e.g., heat/cold therapy, ultrasound, TENS) and exercises to reduce pain and increase mobility.Monitoring & Modification: Continuously monitor patient progress, re-evaluating and adjusting care plans as necessary.Patient Education: Instruct patients and families on home exercise programs, proper ergonomics, and injury prevention techniques.Collaboration & Documentation: Work with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care, while maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress in accordance with regulations.Education, Certification, and Skills:Education: A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.Licensure: Georgia State License is required.Strong manual therapy techniques, proficiency in therapeutic exercise prescription, excellent communication, and strong interpersonal skills.Equal Opportunity Employer:We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
