CNC Programmer Cabinets/Custom Millwork

Job Description: As the Senior CNC Programmer for Millwork and Cabinets, you will lead our CNC programming efforts while ensuring seamless integration with our AutoCAD-driven shop drawing processes. This pivotal role involves translating complex shop drawings into precise CNC programming for high-quality cabinet and millwork production. You will not only optimize CNC operations but also oversee the drafting process to maintain accuracy and efficiency from design to production. Key Responsibilities: CNC Programming Excellence: Create, optimize, and manage CNC programs for detailed millwork and cabinetry production. AutoCAD Shop Drawing Oversight: Manage and refine the shop drawing process, ensuring high standards of accuracy and adherence to technical specifications. Collaborative Project Management: Work closely with design teams, operations, clients, and production staff to ensure a smooth transition from digital designs to physical outputs. Leadership and Training: Lead the drafting team, including remote or overseas team members, providing guidance and training to enhance skills and improve operational efficiency. This role requires proven experience in managing cross-cultural teams and facilitating effective communication across different time zones. Material and Tool Selection: Choose appropriate cutting tools and materials to achieve optimal results for complex design projects. Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on CNC programs and the final outputs to ensure they meet design requirements and industry standards. Innovative Problem-Solving: Apply innovative solutions to enhance CNC programming techniques and improve overall production workflows. Process Optimization: Streamline processes between CNC programming and AutoCAD drafting to enhance productivity and reduce turnaround times. Qualifications: Advanced Degree or Certification in CNC programming, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Extensive Experience in CNC programming specifically for cabinet making and custom millwork, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role managing teams, including overseas teams. Proficiency in CAD/CAM Software, especially AutoCAD and CNC-related software. Strong Analytical Skills and attention to detail in both programming and drafting processes. Excellent Communication Skills to effectively coordinate with multiple departments. Proven Ability to Manage Multiple Projects efficiently under tight deadlines.
