At Knollwood, compassion and respect are at the foundation of everything we do.Role DescriptionThis is a full or part-time, on-site Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role based at our facility in Greater St. Louis. The CNA will assist residents with daily activities, including personal care, meal assistance, mobility support, and hygiene needs. Tasks also involve regularly monitoring residents’ conditions, documenting changes, and communicating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care. The role requires a compassionate approach and a dedication to providing high-quality care in alignment with residents' individual needs. As well as assist with medication. QualificationsProficient in providing personal care, including but not limited to medication assistance & light cleaning.Knowledge of patient monitoring and documentation practices, along with attention to residents' well-being and safetyStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare staffAbility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks, such as lifting and transferring residents, safelyMust hold an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of IllinoisBasic understanding of infection control practices and resident rightsCPR and First Aid certifications are a plusExperience in a senior care or supportive living environment is preferred
