This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and collaboration — transforming complex data into meaningful insights while empowering others to do the same.LocationThis position may be fully remote or based in one of our offices on a hybrid work schedule.The Impact You Will HavePartner with the Corporate Innovation team to support company-wide application initiatives and engineering consultant projectsDesign, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI applications, interactive dashboards, and reportsCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into intuitive, high-impact data solutionsBuild and optimize robust data models to ensure performance, accuracy, and usabilitySupport project teams in tracking cost, schedule, and performance metrics through reporting toolsContribute to project estimates, budgets, forecasts, and cost trend analysisLead and facilitate Power BI training sessions, empowering teams to better leverage data toolsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and reporting efficiencyExperience with data connectors including Rest API’s, DIrectQuery and a future potential companywide data warehouse/data lakeWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experienceAdvanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and M languageStrong experience with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling best practicesDemonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insightsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and guide users at varying skill levelsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting budgets and deadlinesBenesch is an equal opportunity employer committed to a professional, inclusive, and compliant workplace.
